Today, we have brought you a very special individual who has not only been among the best speed players for several years, but is also the speed administrator of the Italian, Spanish, and Russian platforms. We managed to conduct a highly interesting and detailed interview with them, and we hope you will read it with as much excitement as we did!
The interview is available in Hungarian, but since the translation might be of interest to English-speaking players, we have included the original text. We believe that many foreign players will be eager to read the interview.
The English version can be found in the spoilers. Enjoy your reading!

Mikor kezdted a klánháborút?
When did you start playing TribalWars? What were your first experiences? Did you start playing alone or with friends?
I started playing tw when i was 7 or 8 lol (2012), on PT (Portuguese) world 24 because some 3rd grade friend of mine told me to try it. We basically both upgraded our villages to like 500 points and continuously spammed each other attacks of 1 spear / 1 sword and things like that lol I eventually also started playing late on PT 20 where the world was more developed and so not many new players, i was just upgrading the village randomly and i came across a guy who for some reason i sent sitter to and when i came back to the account i was like "wait, what happened? how do i have the timers on the map" and things like that, and so now i realize that was the first time i got premium account and gifted from a random guy lol In general my first experiences were exactly what you'd expect from a 7 year old guy touching a strategy game for the first time, just clicking on every single button, messaging people asking for tribe probably, etc.

Who taught you how to play, or how did you acquire your current knowledge?
This is not an easy question at all and it would have to refer to all of my story on the game xD (and i am currently working on making a video-podcast of this so if you are interested check it out) Its all been a mixture of learning throughout the years, there isn't a clear person who taught me everything but i definitely didn't learn everything by myself, and i acquired my knowledge throughout the years of playing unlike some people who i just taught from 0 to 100 in like a week xD

Mit gondolsz milyen szinten áll a jelenlegi tudásod?
What do you think about the level of your current game knowledge?
This sounds like a very funny question to me very funny question to me SINCE IT IS DIRECTED TOWARDS world players, I don't think there is much of a skill gap in worlds, but for speeds I would say i am definitely at the top, while its impossible to say who is the best in speeds (i am objectively talking about fast, short length speeds, not 6 day speeds) i am definitely a contender for the top spot. For speeds what is most important is just knowing perfectly every single mechanic of the game, even things like the account manager and how to make groups are not known perfectly by some of the best speed players and they can be of great use in some situations. And then its just applying the knowledge of all of those tools and mechanics and obviously legal scripts and just adapting to every situation in the best way possible, and I'd say I do a very good job at that.
What I believe to be the best at is at leading when it comes to speeds. Leaders over the years on speed teams have mostly always had some flaw - they would focus too hard on leading and they would stay behind on their own game, or they would be too focused on their own game and not on their teammates at all or both at the same time. I am able to consistently turn players who are even at a lower level to being useful for the team. There have been multiple times where this has happened (we host random teams in private rounds with random settings) and I've had "lower quality" players (i'm not saying they are inherently predestined to be bad or something, just factual, newer players, players coming back that don't have much experience lately, etc) be extremely useful on my team because I am willing to put trust on every player regardless of skill and I am always telling them what to do if necessary and all that, I can consistently be guiding my players and thinking of strategy and at the same time playing my own game to the best of my ability, which is something I don't think any other leader can do and is definitely something I am proud of. I would definitely like to see players be better at leading and I am sure over the time and if we continue to play rounds like these someone will become pretty good at it as well

Which tribes have you fought against so far? Which one stood out, and with which one would you play again anytime if they called you tomorrow?
In speeds over the years the players have more or less grouped up in tribes, so this question is actually interesting. The most challenging tribe to play against was always the romanians, but i've fought against pretty much all the possible tribes (country tags), de, uk, nl, ro, br, fr, gr, cz, and other groups of players like jokers from .ro which i am considering as "romanians" too, in general these players are the best because they pretty much consistently play together always in every single romanian round and the .ro rounds are basically always a big team vs team in every single round, which gave them way better preparation and coordination compared to any other team in terms of playing together, and of course more experience mechanically which also gave them an edge and allowed them to pretty much always outplay the other tribes with attacking them very early, when they were still coordinating and sprinting the romanians were already catapulting them because of their very good advantage. The big problem with these good teams in speed is that, over the years, they have always been cheating. In some cases we have concrete proof, in others we only have suspicions but the reality is that now that the .it server has become the go-to server for the most competitive speed players still around, the romanian guys and people from other communities have came to play and have gotten banned many times and have not changed their behavior, this is of course a generalization which is flawed and should not be taken literally, but in general and with the aim of summarizing the answers the most possible this is what i will say xD I would definitely play against them anytime and would be willing to make a team from scratch to play against them, we have never really beaten good romanian tribes since they pretty much disappeared after the 10v10 2020 tournament (that hungary also participated in). There is so much more that can be said especially extending parts of what I said on this answer, but this is objectively the answer to the question, if I start typing too much I never stop lol

Is there any player or tribe that you have a rivalry with, and if possible, you always play against them?
Yes, voloda from the cz/sk team (he was the only sk player on the team lol and funnily enough also the only player from there who was always willing to prove he plays legitimately...) and he's a very good player, definitely on my level when it comes to mechanics and game knowledge and its always a pleasure playing against him, because its always competitive and we always play to the best of our ability and its great to actually be challenged in speed since there aren't many players on that high of a skill level. He's also a great guy we've spent countless hours on call just trolling or playing other games etc etc, which is not something I am able to do with other players as well so yea, great guy, definitely big rivalry but mostly friendship he's a pretty cool dude.

Have you ever led a tribe? Have you won as a tribe leader, or have you failed as a leader?
I pretty much already answered this on the "current game knowledge" question, but expanding a bit more on this, I never really won a "major" tournament being a leader but there have pretty much only been 2 major tournaments since i've been playing speeds (i was starting to learn when .masters closed....), the 10v10 one on .net and the 8v8 one (or the attempt at it lol) on .fr which just had a sad ending xD But that's all im gonna add to this, I would definitely like to see a future big tournament where I am able to lead the tribe.

Jelenlegi feladataim? Egyfajta mindenes vagyok a pillanatban.
You are one of the members of the Italian Support team, as far as I know. What are your tasks? When did you start there?
I definitely am I started in early august last year, I sent my application as soon as i became 18 (5 july lol im still very young especially compared to the average tw player) and i had already talked to the italian CM (if i refer to CC, CC=CM) before and we had pretty much became friends xD I had hosted a tournament on .it before (it was very dead, the idea was very nice, i had full support from the staff team who were planning rounds whenever i wanted, even giving premium if needed to the players, but the players just quickly lost interest and some of them stopped answering at all and chasing players to make them schedule their matches is not fun at all and it should never have to be the case - if players have to be ran after it means they are not very interested, and well, discord is a problem in general as well because a lot of the players do not know how to use it, .... anyway...) and we had tested multiple things like to see what is and isn't possible and I've always had a good relationship with him.
So after I sent the application it wasn't immediately reviewed, but it was still way faster than any other server lol (well, the CM was moving houses at that time so not much time which is completely fine xD) and I was very quickly welcomed into the team, I was basically instantly introduced to the team after learning how things worked with CC (its funny because i've seen things in other servers like my original server PT taking so much longer, and then there's a trial period where the supporter is only a forum mod and then it takes very long to actually became a game mod, then learning about all of the functions etc etc it seems like everything is stalled until infinity and in italy i just instantly joined, of course this was clearly also a result of me also having talked and worked with the CM before and so i had built some trust already) I was fully in charge of speeds; Speeds until then were moderated and managed by basically all of the staff members, they planned the rounds, they edited the models with the things i would suggest overtime, they would create new models with things i would also suggest, etc, with me becoming speed admin i could just do all of this myself and shape the speed server to my "ideal" of what a speed server should look like, and the reality is not much actually changed compared to how they managed it, they did a fantastic starting job and I kinda just kept going with it, of course by adding in my wide knowledge about speed rounds and making the settings better and also making some very enjoyed special events. As a speed admin, my first goals were clear (and I've achieved all of them) - Make the speed rounds better (some settings had to be changed and fixed, etc) - Make more speed rounds (we had like 40 models? that is still a lot of models compared to the average server, i mean just look at .pt where they basically rotate the same 8 rounds every single day or even worse nowadays with the classic 24h round into the 3d round and that happening on repeat...) and so initially in the first month i think i doubled the number of rounds - Making moderation better (with the support members who were monitoring the speeds some cheaters were able to freely cheat, its not the support members' fault, they simply do not have the knowledge as to what is and isn't possible in a fast environment like speed, but it definitely had to be done) - Making more special events (we now often make KOTH rounds, random tribes, special days (one day all the rounds are of a x type of round or with some variation, etc)), we do basically all kinds of possible things and we are always looking out for what more can be done. - Revising all of the current models (there were a lot of older models which made no sense nowadays) and remaking the ones that are bad, or just deleting them if they are useless or just random models that are there wasting space All of this was basically achieved within the first month. My end game goal as a speed admin was to have the biggest worldwide collection of speed models, which I've also achieved this year (around february).
Basically, I wanted to have a big library of speed rounds that came from other servers and just from other times, for example right now we have some very loved models of the swiss server back from the 2016 era, we've also brought back models from the old swedish server, even though it does not exist anymore, these are just some small examples but a lot more than this has been done when it comes to models, we've even come back with some old BR models that everyone enjoyed and is now able to enjoy again thanks to this initiative, etc. It is something that took a lot of time to make, talking to people, figuring out the settings, changing them over the days and months according to what was necessary to make everything work better, etc. But this was basically my end game goal in being a speed admin and I've achieved it - when it comes to being a speed admin I think i've done everything i could ever possibly want to, and I obviously keep pushing myself to have more ideas and to make some more special events, but the state of speeds on the italian server is in my opinion perfect and not really much can be done. My current tasks? I kinda look at everything at this point, I joined only with the goal of being a speed admin, especially because well, I am not italian xD, but with time I've started to understand pretty much everything (at least of written italian) and I've been able to help with handling support tickets from worlds, checking for infractions in worlds, everyone in the italian support server kinda does a bit of everything, we just do what is necessary when necessary and we are a very chill, but also very professional team which I am definitely proud to be apart of, i consider most of them good friends rather than just "colleagues" or something xD

Játszottál a .HU szervereken?
Have you ever played on one of the Hungarian servers? What is your experience with the big differences between platforms?
I have, as a speed player I've played in every single server.
Well, the differences are what can be obviously seen - other servers are mostly focused on shorter 1-5h rounds normally, and on .hu it is mostly longer rounds, entire day rounds, multiple day rounds, which is pretty cool because the players know that this is the server to go to when it comes to this kind of speeds.
I myself am not too big of a fan of this because it just takes way too much time and these rounds are also generally unplayable if you're playing alone, so i prefer my simple 3 hour max rounds where i can just join whenever i have nothing better to do and have some fun for a bit. In terms of differences well, there aren't many, the game is exactly the same in all of the servers, the only possible differences come from how the support handles the server or on the perspective of innogames towards the server (giving it more or less importance).
One thing that I have to mention about the hungarian server is that in terms of speed players, there are basically no good players (in short rounds). Its very funny to me seeing the contrast between servers, if I am to make a long round on the italian server basically no one will join and those who join will most likely not even play and just joined to check what's happening, and in short rounds people join and play, on the hungarian server this is basically the opposite, people enjoy longer rounds way more, and to me, longer rounds seem more like worlds than speeds (mostly because it requires you to be permanently online...) and so I don't really think people that are good in these rounds are necessarily good in shorter lenght speeds which is to me what is most relevant.
Over the years I've played some rounds on .hu and most of the times, in the short rounds, with not much competition. I've found some decent players and I've even tried to invite them to our international speed discord server and I was open and willing to help them become better, but most of them ended up just saying no and having too high of an ego to actually want to improve, which is quite sad and also explains the miserable result the hungarian team had in the 10v10 tournament in 2020 on .net. I'd like to see this being changed, but this would require a mindset change on the hungarian players which I honestly don't see happening at any point soon. The reality is that in most of the servers the players who still consistently play speed are old players who aren't really looking to improve - some of them just play to casually spend time and others think they are the best ever possible, so when someone who is better than them appears they just accuse them of cheating and keep their ego to themselves. That's the sad reality of the game though, I can't blame the hungarian server for that, its a general problem.
